Prakash Almeida
Founder –Director
Mr. Almeida has over 20 years of experience in ELT. He has authored books on ELT. He has conducted numerous workshops for teachers and professionals. He has edited and translated books and special issues on various subjects. He designed many distance education programs. He has successfully trained many professional translators. He is an alumnus of IIM-A. He holds twelve master degrees in various subjects along with many diplomas and certificates. He is a certified trainer for IELTS from the British Council. He is UGC NET in Defence and Strategic Studies and Linguistics. Mr. Almeida has received two Gold Medals of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in Distance Education and Gandhi and Peace Studies. He is a well known career counsellor. He has edited and translated many books. He regularly contributes to various periodicals and newspapers. He has presented research papers in various national and international conferences. He is the founder-director of KnowledgeFountain (www.knowledgefountain.org), Institute for South Asian Peace Studies and Indian Institute of Economic Literacy and Tagore Institute of Mind Cultivation & Research (www.timcr.in)
Amita Almeida
Director
Ms. Amita has over 10 years of experience in ELT. She conducts various teacher training workshops. She holds MA in English literature, Education, Distance Education, Linguistics, Psychology. She holds a Bachelor in Library Science. She holds 5 other diplomas and 4 certificates in guidance and counseling, ELT, and instruction designing. Amita is a certified counsellor and instruction designer. She believes in continuous learning. She is a certified trainer of English (CELTA) from the University of Cambridge, UK. She is engaged in research and development of innovative teaching methods, tools and techniques in ELT. She leads a team of senior trainers. Currently she is working on some books and creating content for online programs.
